What is Vedic meditation?

Vedic meditation is a unique and effortless style of meditation that dissolves accumulated stress and fatigue naturally, bringing endless health and other benefits. Also known as an automatic transcending technique, Vedic meditation is a science based practice that anyone can learn. Unlike other styles of meditation, there’s no concentration, control or focus needed, the power of this technique lies in its simplicity.

How is it practiced?

Practiced for 20 minutes twice daily, Vedic meditation enables your mind to settle and your body to experience a profound state of rest and spontaneously let go of stress. It is recognised as the most effective technique to awaken and enhance your full inner and cognitive potential. You feel the benefits of this deep rest and expansion after your very first session and the benefits are then accumulative as you make meditation a daily practise.

Where does it come from?

Vedic meditation is derived from the Veda, the 5,000+ year-old body of wisdom that is also the source of yoga and Ayurveda. It’s said to be the oldest meditation practice on Earth and is always taught face-to-face by a qualified teacher.

Learn Vedic meditation with Steph Watson

Steph personally teaches the Vedic meditation course which runs over four consecutive days for approximately 90 minutes each day. During the first session (private) you receive your personal mantra and learn how to effortlessly enter the meditative state. Over the following three sessions you’ll refine your practice with Steph while exploring in-depth knowledge on:

  • the mechanics and benefits of the practice

  • the impact of stress accumulation on the mind and body

  • how daily practice of Vedic meditation eliminates stress

  • how to access higher states of consciousness, and

  • the relevance of meditation in your life and living.

    By the completion of the course you’ll be a confident and self-sufficient daily meditator with a highly restorative and powerful technique for life.
